India finishes the Boxing World Cup with 4 Bronze medals

In a never before feat, India had 4 of its boxers reaching the semifinals at AIBA World Boxing Cup being held in Moscow.

But the sad news is that all the four lost their semifinal bouts and thus had to satisfy themselves with just the Bronze medals and $2500 each as prize money.

Akhil Kumar (54 Kg), Jitender Kumar (51 Kg), AL Lakra (57 Kg) and Dinesh Kumar (81 Kg) all lost to their opponents in semifinal matches. But this still remains India's best show at the event with 4 Bronze medals.
